What we need is a thread that has everyone's representatives contact site for all the districts, and the Governors. All a person has to do is find their district reps click on the link, and it goes right to that reps contact site.

For the federal rep and senators you can contact them directly from that page.

For your state rep and senator you have to search their name an contact. that will take you to a page where you can write them.

I'm sure they'll get around to passing this around the same time they repeal Holcomb's emergency order, ban mask mandates, preempt local restrictions on businesses, etc. Zero faith in our statehouse RINOs.

Thanks for the info. I sometimes struggle with the right words to say. It’s always nice to have some reference material.

There was a committee hearing on this today. I was able to watch an hour or so of it after work and I have a question. From the testimony I watched the state police chiefs association and the indiana fop oppose the bill but there were several county sheriffs that spoke in support. Why the disconnect between county and local agencies? Are Sheriff's deputies not members of the fop?

I'll cross-post my notes on the 2A Legislation thread and here tomorrow.

That was a LONG hearing but the pro-2A side outnumbered the antis today!! I keep posting this because too many times half the room is wearing those damn red t-shirts. We outnumbered them today.

Vice Chair Mayfield had the gavel for the hearing since Representative Smaltz (Public Policy Chairman) wrote the bill. She did the opposed-support-opposed method in calling those who testified. When we had two supporters in row I new we had them beat, the last six to testify were supporters.

I looked up my local/state reps. (Link to find rep) which mine happen to be Aaron Freeman and Mike Speedy. I then emailed them the following letter I composed.
"As a responsible firearm owner and constituent, I ask you to please support House Bill 1369. This bill restores the true meaning of what it means to exercise our right to keep and bear arms, as stated in the second amendment, freely, and without asking for permission first, as well as expanding the rights and freedoms of all honest liberty-loving Hoosiers. Constitutional Carry as this bill represents, simply means that if a person can lawfully own a gun, they can also carry it concealed without getting a license. This is already the law in 16 states, including three in the “liberal” northeast. Therefore, I once again urge you as my representative, to stand behind and support HB 1369. Thank you for your time and consideration."
Not sure if it’s too late, but I sent an email to my reps and will have everyone at work do the same. I hope I’m not too late

Absolutely not too late!! With how the hearing went yesterday, now is the time to keep up the pressure on our elected officials.
