Got out to shoot the wife’s new Sig p365 today, we are both fans. I shot it pretty well, she needs a little practice, but it was starting to get really cold...

Also the Wrangler shot really well! I shot it better one handed like a man. CCI Shorts sub sonic in that gun are super quiet! No ears needed. Gun hit where I aimed it once I got the hang of it.

Finding .308 rifles in stock is difficult. Finally found the Bergara B14 Timber in stock and was so excited I ordered it. Guess we'll see if I like it or not. Probably gonna grab another Diamondback Tactical 6x24x50 to put on it.

    Pretty much Michigan.
Got the strikefire in @ 50 yards
DBE9417A-49AD-4A2F-B177-4DAC1D653276.jpeg Took a bit but it was my last splatter target. That 4mo dot is pretty big at 50, cant imagine holding anything smaller than 6” groups at 100.

This was Mrs.BRC’s first time out with her christmas glock @ 15 yards. She still flinches a little but shes on target. D30972D4-4C67-4BAB-896E-FBBEE44DC985.jpeg Didnt even get the 90/22 out since she was froze after a half hour. Oh well, might as well save the ammo.

Thanks. If I like it I'll be really happy about the purchase. I'm very pessimistic about how the firearms market will do while senile sleepy joe and company are in office, so I thought I'd better get what I wanted now.

On the 1st, I’m bringing the 716i and the Ruger GSR. I have not run those back to back yet. There is a part of me that wants to move the Sig BDX optic over to the Ruger and then put an Eotech on the Sig.

The Ruger suppressed with the BDX could be a lot of fun. Both rifles have a 16 inch barrel so both should be similar in accuracy at distance unless there are fit or quality issues present

When I was looking for a .....308 I found the same thing. 6 and 6.5 whatever are the current flavor.

My HMR currently wears that scope.

Yes, I could even get the HMR version in 6.5 c, but didn't want that caliber, even though I would have preferred that rifle. Oh well, the Timber will likely be very nice and I'll start grabbing the occasional box of .308 when I can find it in stock.

The grip is actually inscribed with the word ORANGE?!? Is that because you are color blind and need words to identify what color things are? Inquiring minds want to know.

On a slightly different note, The Wizard texted me today. He has completed the installation of the Cajun parts ... the DA is at a smooth 7.8 lbs (down from 9.8) and the SA breaks crisp and clean at 3.8 lbs (down from 5.0). I meet him next Saturday to pick it up. First stop when I get home is a potty break, then off to the range.

So, now that I have officially doubled my investment into this pistol, I might as go all the way. Any recommendations on grips or other accoutrements that I might need to investigate?
