Just a 5906 with extended mag release, slim slide release, wide trigger, and b square scope mount. DA averages 6lbs 10oz, SA averages from the reset 2lbs 10oz.

In any case, it's nice looking. Maybe some day I'll put something like that together, after I've narrowed my collection into something that could be considered a "collection" rather than, pile of guns.

I have missed my SW 3rd Gen guns.
    I had two 5906 & one 4006 (40 acp w/adjustable sights!).
I picked this 6964 up from a member last evening in memory of them. :)
Since it is a tad smaller, but big enough for 12+1 I wanted to give it another whirl.

Going to the range today to try it out.
Seller told me it shot a little to the right & high for him.
I can live with shooting a 6 o'clock position to deal with the height, & the windage can be drifted.
Can't wait to see where it's at.

I have been spending $$ on ancillary items to enjoy the guns I have more, so maybe if I fall in love with it I'll spend for adjustable sights. :dunno:
I haven't even checked to see if my holsters for the 5906 would work with it?
I have leather IWB & OWB that were really tight that I still have (ordered from Turkey).

    Hey 1775usmarine!
I thought of you when I was trying to find this thread!

Follow up: I just tried both & they fit perfectly for me: nice & tight & the thumb strap connects (snaps) good.
    I am pleased!
I got an OWB holster with it so I'm set.

Getting ready to stop at a friend house in Shelbyville & pick up a 22 pistol & rifle to shoot (the pistol I picked up for him last night from the same person), just for fun.
So, I got my new 6964 & friend's 2 guns to shoot & a couple more of mine, so it looks like a 3-4 range visit, which is good b/c my wife is in work mode & I have to hide.

I figured you'd know where the gun came from since you keep your eye on anything SW 3rd gen.
Full report with my boring range pics will ensue.
