Technically yes. I could have bought two of them with just this last pay check but I have certain bills that come out of certain checks in the month, plus a percentage that I like to go into savings and then I have to make room for food and gas. I don't like to dip into the savings account for fun either. I'm also a production LG2 not one of you grade 5 systems guys with your scrooge Scrooge McDuck vault of swimmin' money.

All I have to say, is one word.. INCENTIVE.
With that one word, you can't talk about LG5.

That one 281 day we had was a fluke. We don't average anywhere close to that. On days where we run incident free, we probably average 180 but we run a lot of new age and experimental stuff that the mill simply wasn't designed to run which causes wrecks, spalls, and other delays on top of the fact the company likes to just put Band-Aids on things instead of really fixing them right. They say not even ten years ago things were different but this stuff is the future.

Have not been here in 4 years, then 2A_Tom nudges my email. Thanks for stirring the pot.
Cannot make the M&E but would like to see a M&S. I can control the weather and insure 72F and sunny.

We will talk about it at the M&E.

The new steels are where the money is at.
Problem is, they don't want to do what's necessary.
They don't even want to hear about it.

We have two wireless cameras. The wireless system is from the 70s.
    There are ZERO parts.
So, one camera system doesn't work.
The other system works for brief moments.
They said, they can't get another wireless system, because it's not allowed anymore.
So, we told them to run conduit and wire.
    They won't, it's a difficult run.
Instead, they just ask us EVERY WEEK about it.
Get a new wireless system or run cable.
    No.
    Well, then you're f'd.
    Next week, same thing.
They brought in a camera specialist. Says it's working now.
It comes up, then blue screen.
Comes up again, then blue screen.
Spends half or more of its time on a blue screen from loss of signal.
So, the specialist really did nothing.

    Drives me nuts.
    We could have it working.
    If management did something.

Jedi saw no snow this am.
It is cold and if we get wind, watch out.
Glad jedi drove in all the way today.

I'll be driving south tomorrow. Faaaaaaaar south. I-65 sounth to Seymour for a meeting. Then west on 50 to Bloomington for a late lunch. Then north to come back home.

Audi QUATTRO or old school 4WD pick up truck? I'm leaning toward the Quattro. Doesn't have snow tires but the Quattro drive system is the best AWD/4WD system I've ever used and I've had several Jeeps with their various versions of 4wd. I still have 1 Jeep with locking hubs. I've had some of the modern AWD sport-utes. But Quattro beats all those.

The Nissan's old school 4WD that bounces on hard pavement is tempting in deep snow, it has better tires for deep snow, but is far less comfortable and far less efficient on a long drive. I'll probably wait to see. The deeper the snow the more I will lean toward the truck simply because of the tires that are on that vehicle.

That last little snow we got, a regular pickup truck got stuck going up an incline in front of the wife. There was a long line of traffic behind him including the wife. They got him moved off to the side, and my wife started to go. They told her you're not going to get up that incline. She says watch me, revs up the little Subaru, and off she goes. No muss, no fuss, no tire spin. Best money I've spent on a vehicle in decades.

Yep. Missed the Y twice this week and missed chorus practice Monday. Hopefully today will be a bit better. I got a little more sleep last night than I had been getting.
