At least this one is getting some exercise!
Right angle tangents, jumping to conclusions conclusions, etc.

I didn't get told anything that isn't in the police blotter published in the news paper, on the police & sheriff's department web sites.
It's a small town, everybody's business is in the newspaper, every police call, from stray cats to noise complaints to yard sale lookers parking up driveways.
    Web sites have mug shots.
    (This is the 21st century...)

Any other full throttle right angle turns you want to make into the guard rail of confusion?

So, then you won't mind sharing a link of this will you? Ya know, so we all can learn from this.

EDIT: Scooped by Hatin', but worth repeating.

Just thinking, but JH, I'm a threat because I OC (the rough grips rub my delicate love handles under my shirt)...

What if I wear a badge? That way you know I'm a good guy.

I was in ROTC for a year (the first two quarters were mandatory at my college then). What special powers will I get?

Did you get to keep the shoes? If so like me, then your special power is polishing shoes with cotton balls and hot water.

I don't care about *YOUR* 2A Rights, I care about me & mine NOT DYING at the hands of some random socially retarded person dragging an open firearm into an inappropriate setting.

If you can't restrain yourself enough to show respect & manners to anyone else, you are at the top of my immediate threat list, and I know you are armed... Get used to it, it's exactly how everyone else not trying to prove a political point feels also. [snip]

Took out some of the excess verbiage.

Do you really believe that people that are going to shoot up a place walk in openly carrying? Criminals openly carry?

Dog pile means that you are right and everyone is too stupid to realize it and acquiesce to your will. You should be flattered, not upset.

I do remember the first five weeks of AFROTC was dedicated to inculcating that fact into us cadets.

Well, you have to cover the important things first! My understanding is, I hear tell, that these days there is no boot or shoe polishing. Oh, the horror! How are they ever going to become good airmen or soldiers if the don't learn how to polish a boot?

    As for DD214's

I served peacetime, 8 years between Vietnam and Grenada. I had a lot of good times and some not so good. All I did was act as a place holder and help some guys learn what I knew. Some may have done the job they trained for and some (like myself) may have done their time and ETSed without seeing action.

This is not Starship Troopers, so I don't get any special points aside from a few benefits that I do not really feel I totally deserve.

I sincerely hope that I have never given anyone the impression that I feel I am better than anyone Else. We are all flawed individuals with vast oceans of ignorance between our tiny islands of expertise.

I appreciate the input of other members and hope that I have enriched your lives in some small way as you have enriched mine.

Now as for JH, See PM.

"Since I run a gun SMITH shop" "since I don't run a GUN SHOP"

You don't know the difference between and open to the public gun shop and a private machine/gunsmith shop?

I think it's a good time for an exit also.
It's OK, we'll be embarrassed for you....

I'm going to step back in and apologize for the misunderstanding about the gun smith shop.
    I am so embarrassed.

The apologie was sincere, with some humor.
The argument for CC won't go away. It's not THE way. You have biased opinions on the subject.
