That's not what she said. She said the idea that "all V.A.s everywhere are broken" is a myth. That's an admission that the V.A. is broken in some places.

Please don't put me in the position of defending A.O.C.; I don't want to. But we have to accurately represent the other side's positions or we're in danger of being as dishonest as they often are.

(And I have absolutely no problem saying that she is on the other side in a way that even most Democrats could not be said to be. )

But she did say “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” So it’s apparent that she doesn’t think any of the VA’s need fixing. So, I think it’s overly generous to give her the benefit of doubt that she was implying some are broke.

To be fair I had never really seen a garbage disposal until my sophomore year of college. Not everyone has one, including my new house. I don't have a dishwasher and I don't want to put anything in my septic system that I don't have to.

I still know what they are.

Grew up wthout A/C, yet knew what it was.
