My thoughts are the same as what you did, and I have a good client that does Generac, that I should probably recipricate with my business. I was initially thinking Kohler too, based on the motor, but if Generac is solid, I'll most likely go that route. You read good and bad about every brand, hence my question. Read good things about the briggs&stratton also.

    .
Exactly. In the end the relationship was more important than the brand. We didn't even know the guy well then. It ended up being a great decision though, as he has been our go to electrician ever since.

Generac's are good because they can run on natural or LP gas.

When power is lost natural gas service is nearly never disrupted.

LP needs to be stored and delivered.

    Lp produces slightly more Kwh.

Is there any option to add a carburetor to make it run on gasoline?

that is a new IL state law but jedi has yet to see it applied.
granted on the toll road jedi has never seen slow drivers. its like the indy 500 on that road. its 80/94 that has the issues.

I guess that depends upon the rate at which you drive.

I generally prefer 80/94 to the Toll Road. More lanes to go around people.

Yea, I drive a little slower than some, but I know when I start losing traction and thus control. Most flying around me you can literally see they have hardly any control but they think they do, even while fishtailing. Course, I will stay in the right lane too.

no issues if u go slow in the right lane. that is what it is designer for. (slow = speed limit or lower in times of bad weather)

jedi's issue and ctc, most likely, is the ***** that are in the middle or left lane doing under the speed limit and holding up all the cars behind them. GTFOOTW!!!

I only take 2 lane roads to and fro work. Very rarely someone will pull over and let me by in in climate weather.

It's always a 4x4 or an awd suv... Meanwhile I blast by busting snow drifts in my fwd gtp...

I'll be crossing enemy line to go to the auto show today. Seems like this will become our yearly thing especially with the kid on the way. Get them interested in the trades if they decide to go that route.
