Anyhoo, as to the video, thats the kind of "Reed and Malloy" stuff I hope still goes on more than we know.

What, you mean like the episode where Malloy shot a guy with tear gas b/c he was war-wacky? Or when they fought a biker gang with their hot girlfriend/wife during a day trip to a ghost town? :D

(On a serious note, I love the concept, where the police settled disputes and enforced the law when necessary, peace officer vs. law enforcement. Problem is, I don't think cities want a focus on that, they want to curb crime in a "by the numbers" affair rather than social trending.)

Brings back fond memories of when the Gary PD would play with me and my friends when we were young teens! Nothing like a good game of "hide and seek!" I'm pretty sure we're still playing! But to be serious , I've complained many times about where my tax money goes. But I have to admit that I've haven't seen it used as good as this in a long, long time!:yesway:

I remember the bike gang episode, but I don't remember the other. Pete Malloy shot a guy with tear gas? Are you making that up? Late 60s-early 70s that would've been launched by an M79, that would HURT! Come to think of it shooting a "war-wacky" individual with something coming out of a grenade launcher? Add 20 years of group therapy and a whole lot of benzos.

Sarcasm is a great way to make fun of newbies or those not in the "inner circle". It is a low form of humor and that's why it really should be in purple. Of course with so many members, driving off a few here and there really doesn't matter. This was just plain trolling.

Nothing like complaining about anti cop trolls and trolling yourself.

It wasn't meant to be trolling. I am sorry if I have offended anyone with my words.
I was referring to the OP, not you.

I've personally posted threads about cops doing similar to the one in the OP story. It's a great thing those cops do. I remember as a teenager, the few that would treat us like humans. Guess which ones got our respect.

No. I'm going to need the season and episode # for that one. I have seen every single episode in last 2 years. It may be in there, but I don't remember it.

I can't remember the episode but remember it's season 1. They had a call of a MWAG, upon arriving at the scene, two kids said it was their neighbor and he had a "big gun". They surround the joint with backup, up comes the cool station wagon with a light bar. Malloy gets the gas launcher out and... well, not going to ruin it for you. :D

Think my fav was the one with the heiress chick who was into Malloy and kept bugging him at the station and even buying him a Porsche. Funny stuff, especially if it was based on a real case?! That and the episode where they chase down two bank robbers (both black) and one tries to rile up the crowd saying it was racially biased, but one younger guy calms the crowd down.

Some of you people are wrapped entirely too tight.
