Stay ever vigilant!! These snakes are waiting for 2014. They are purposely pounding the media in toss up states so as to win the House, and hopefully keep the Senate, and then it's all over. They said the healthcare bill wouldn't pass, so never, ever rest!! Keep writing your reps, and keep getting the word out, especially to friends in other states.

No one believes this to even be a remote possibility.
If you can't wrestle control of the house from the republicans when you have the republican John Kerry causing 7 million republican voting whites to stay home and millions of minorities coming out for Barack....
then you're sure as hell not going to take it in the middle of Obama's second failed term.

2014 predictions: Oh wait it's too soon to tell.
Probably some modest GOP pick ups in the house, and a possible senate flip for the GOP, though I'm sure they'll find a way to drop the ball.

Two things, first Obama threw several Dems under the bus during his hissy fit news conference and all but called both Dems and Pubs who voted against it scum. How's that going to play out in any future bills, gun control or otherwise. Secondly, this guy is the biggest narcissist to ever breath air. He can't take being defeated. He talked the good talk about continuing to fight for gun control but my guess is he will quietly let it die. He can't take more defeats and he likely has several coming his way ie: immigration and the b udget.

One other thing that I was thinking made his panties get in a bunch during the rose garden speech, I wonder if the ricin letter that was sent to him just PO'd him even more.

With the rash of shootings as of late, it won't be long till another one happens. Do not for a second think this is over! They will bide their time and keep their bill on the back burner and trot it out when they think they can force it through. W have some breathing room for the dust to settle and maybe prices to normalize but this incident has changed gun ownership in this country. People got the crap scared out of them and I predict that sales and ammo shortages will continue for some time. This in the end is a good thing for the 2A cause.

I am ashamed that I admired McCain and voted for him when he ran for president. He actually has been surprising me as of recent. Donnelly on the other hand, doesn't surprise me... I knew when I wrote him and started getting letters back how that snake was. :-/
