The Cornyn Amendment opens Pandora's Box and we don't want or need it. Fortunately, it has zero chance of getting 60 votes. For that matter, we now know that the overall bill cannot pass, so all of these amendment votes are academic anyway.

NAtional carry recognition would be cool, but states have rights, yet they have no right to deem who is eligible to exercise a right in the first place.

It will nationally legitimise infringement by license, AGAINST!

I thought his line was that the legislation deserved a vote. It got its vote.

    Fini.

#demandactionnow and all that crap lol here's their vote, no more complaining. I can't wait till they all start openly saying they hate America and show their true colors. FFS, we gave them gay marriages, abortion, Obama, and "entitlements". Whiny little *****es.

Your sure? I thought even the final bill needed 60 to pass

... it probably will not get it - both 'revisions' got more than 50. and some voting for SA.715 and SA.725 - will not vote for S.649 without either of those.

Donnelly voted for the "better" SA.725 ... Cruz/Grassley (coats) amendment.

I think it only needs 51 unless someone filibusters, would take 60 votes to break the filibuster. But if it got the 60 to break the filibuster, it would probably get what it needed to pass either way. If I remember correctly anyway

Criminals can get non residency concealed permits to carry in Florida???

If that is as flagrant a lie as it seems, Schumer should be eligible for prosecution same as somebody lying to him in a hearing. Contempt charges.

Isn't it interesting that on THIS issue, the libs are so concerned about states' rights. On any other issue, states' rights are down the toilet...
