Hassles like this is why I just avoid flying whenever possible. Now, if I can drive there within a day, I drive. I used to fly all of the time for work, now only use it as a last resort.

They take that fake hammer from this man because "it could be used as a weapon" and they let someone like myself, who trains in martial arts, fly with a couple of tactical lights with sharp strike bezels and other "TSA approved" impact tools and other kind of serious weapons (that I may keep by mistake in some of my bags pockets) on my person.

@freedomnc lol I haven't lost anyway bud. Go deal with criminals and the public on a daily basis, then come talk to me about it. Security standards should be upheld, no exceptions period. The public is far too ignorant of the people around them and the kinds of things people pull. Its rarely in the media, and on TV you are brainwashed with ridiculous movies and TV shows. Old people, handicapped people, young people, middle aged, etc. all do crime. Doesn't matter if they have no legs, or no arms, they will figure out a way and do. As for terrorists, hey they are always watching. They start seeing people get the go through free card, that is what they are going to use on you.

I love how he says they can have "no legs, or no arms"

We are paying these morons salary.

    I refuse to fly.

I feel safer knowing that the TSA keeps me safe on board in case terrorists wanted to attack us with snow globes.

This whole agency is a joke since it never did anything to make us safe.

Im soooo happy i do not have to fly anymore (work). I hate these tools. anytime you pay retards to do a job that has an ounce of authority be prepared for ****ed up results. I hate driving too but I will take it anyday over TSA security joke/check points. that would be so awesome to tell my todler the $120 snow globe I bought her at disney world has to go in the trash because the bad man TSA security guard with a cracker jack badge says it could be a weapon. yeah, that would be so much fun watching her cry because they think she could be a terrorist.

I fly fairly often.... These TSA guys can pat me down, feel me up, full body scan me, pull me aside, hold me up.... or whatever. I don't give a F what they do if it helps me get to my destination and back in one piece.

This incident was wrong and many of the people I have found working at the TSA are not the brightest bulbs... But I don't think they have a very easy job and they have thousands upon thousands of ******* passengers going through their lines each day.

Not a job I would want and I hope they continue to help keep us safe. I feel bad for the disabled man and family this happened to.

The pukes are at it again. This is what happens when you hire wannabe authoritarian bottomfeeders to enforce unconstitutional "regulations" or nonlaws as they should be called.

You packin heat would be more likely to make the plane ride safe than anything they are doing.

This is why I won't fly anymore. Sometime later this year I'm hoping to take a road trip out to Seattle to see my sister and will be stopping to visit friends along the way. Sure flying may be cheaper, but I'd rather spend the extra money on gas than fly. At least this time the trip will likely be with my parents so we will split the gas costs.

Screw the TSA and their BS!!

There are other ways to keep passengers safe, most of the work is done by intelligence agencies before terrorists can even get to a plane.
I fly in Europe often and you dont have pat down or body scans, the airport security doesnt treat you like a terrorist and its just as safe.
That's why I know that the TSA and the way they act in the US are not needed to keep us safe.
In most countries in Europe most security checks at the airport are done by private companies, not by a huge government agency who can do whatever they want.
Why is it possible to have the same level of safety in Europe without treated people like criminals? :dunno:

TSA keeps us safe, just like how the DoEd makes us smart, the FDA keeps us healthy, and the FED boosts the economy, and the ATF keeps us safe, and the EPA saves the planet, and Congress keeps us free...
