The Exodus Gate by Stephen Zimmer

The fantasy book is a combination of SHTF, End Times and Spiritual Warfare. Stephen is a Pro 2nd guy, and it shows in his books. He is also a nice guy to boot, and interacts with his fans on Facebook. I have had a few great conversations with him.

It has it's flaws, but so far it is a solid start to his Rising Dawn series.

Ran through David Allen's Getting Things Done.
Nice basic, common sense approach to taking care of 'stuff'. Pretty business-oriented with projects and such. But the basic approach can apply to personal tasks and goals. I have his next book in my queue to ingest.

Then, I took on 170 AD writings of Marcus Aurelius's Meditations. It's just a mind-dump of wisdom from the last of the good (5 total) emperors.

But what I'm absorbing now should be read by all who frequent these boards. Legacy of Ashes: the history of the CIA

Could just have easily been subtitled "Keystone Kops play Spy". About half way through and it's brutally honest and brutal. Good thing the USSR was even worse at this stuff than we were.
