Not sure where to post this but this forum seemed the most likely to appreciate it.
I picked up an antique (not reproduction) iron Betty Lamp. I just need some course natural cloth to twist into a wick and some fuel (tallow, bacon grease, vegetable oil) and voila, light. They are supposed to be a little smoky if you don't trim the wick properly and the fuel selected determines how much smell (maybe odor, maybe fragrance) they give off. Has anyone here ever used one?
