With respect to the forum's rules, I'll only state that this is one of the reasons for the 2nd Amendment. And when people scoff and sneer that it'll never be needed here---it already has.

I drank a toast to these gentlemen a couple of hours ago when I got home from work.

By the way, the Hallmark Channel made a movie about this a while back called An American Story.
