Decided to get my Yugoslavian family together for a group pic.
    From top down
    M70AB2 underfolder
    M57 Tokarev
    M24/47 Mauser
    M59 SKS
    M59/66 SKS
    M76 Sniper rifle

And these are 2 Yugo refurb'ed Russian Mosin Nagant's in my collection, a 44 Izhevsk PU sniper and a 46 Izhevsk M44 carbine.

The PU sniper was refurbed at Vojna Radionica 124, (Military Workshop 124) and is stamped /BP124\ on the butstock.

The M44 was refurbed at Yugoslavian 1 Tehnicki Remontni Zavod ("1" stands for Cacak, Serbia and the "TRZ" translates to "technical repair facility") and is stamped 1TRZ on the butstock.

Very nice, I always wanted one of the M76's but was never able to swing one. Bet it shoots nice too. I had a thing for the semiauto sniper rifles for a while and had a number of them in my collection but that was then.

I LOVE my M70 underfolder but mine has a wood fore end which makes it a lot nicer to fire. Never gets hot to hold and I like wood.

You have really slicked up the wood on all of your little Yugo Collection too, those things shine. Nice work, it show the pride you have in these pieces. I am like you in that regards, I tend to make the wood all it can be though it takes me some time to get to some of my rifles.

    Top Notch!

The wood on all of those are as imported, believe me cleaning the cosmoline off of them ( except the M76) was a B***h.

Very nice! You even have one of those Mouzers in there!:yesway::yesway:

I think the Yugoslavian cosmoline is some of the worst to remove. They must have used a lot of wax in their formula.

But what MillerTyme didn't want to show us was his Sunday driver...a minty (other than a few rust spots and missing minor parts) 1987 Yugo GV!:laugh:

That's what I mean, the wood has been cleaned up and made to look nice. I do this to mine as well. Looks like you did some buffing too which isn't a bad thing either. They all look great.

Sir, you are a man after my own heart. We have almost identical collecting tastes...you just have WAY more of them ;). Bravo...bravo.
I cannot believe you do not have one of these.

I only have one 59/66 and it's a bit "worked over". Still have not figured out the significance of the date "3-11-95" scribed on it in two separate places.

I do love my Yugo underfolder. I did have an all original "full stocked" Yugo AK kit I bought back in the day for $99. Sold the kit a couple of years ago for $350. Just did not get around to building it myself.

Very interesting carving on your 59/66, must have been something special to a previous owner.:yesway:
