You just can't fix Stupid

Had this happen to me today. Got off work, stopped by the Speedway gas station to crab a cup of coffee for the ride home. Works down off Washington St by the Indy Zoo. Standing in line, said hey to a Indiana State Trooper there getting a drink, then this guy said to the State Trooper, nice gun i've got one just like it at home, but this is what Im carrying now, pulls out a 45 out of his coat pocket to show the officer... All the officer said was just gotta becareful with those, I mean you could tell by the look on his face that he couldn't believe that guy just did that.
I know this is a rant but It's idiots like him who give gun owners who are licensed to carry a bad rep. in my opinion, but this is just me ranting about a stupid person.

For just this reason, I go back and forth between thinking everyone should indeed have the right to keep and bear arms, and thinking there needs to be some kind of basic minimum intelligence test.
