Couple questions, I'm pretty ignorant to 9 mill uppers

Is this a complete setup all I have to do is put it on a Non colt, standard pin upper?
Does this function with basic 9mm ammo, doesn't need Hot machinegun levels?
Does this function well?
Can lead be shot?
How easy are mags to get for it?
Do you need to modify the lower?

anything you want to divulge to help me make the leap, I've been open to a pistol caliber carbine for a while

THis upper works very well. No problems ever. The mag is a factory mag availible from OLY only. The best set up would be to couple it with a OLY glock lower. My trade interest include 223 or ar57 upper or 1911 compact
