Original Winchester 1873 rifle
I sent this to a gunsmith for inspection before posting the ad. The gunsmith fixed it up and put some shells through it to ensure that it was ready for the new owner. The 32-20 caliber is more pleasant to shoot than some of the larger ones. This functional rifle with octagonal barrel and aged crack free stock will look good over the mantle, or in the field, or at the range.
Originally the rifle was used at a ranch in Nebraska during the Indian War period (late 1800s). Eventually the rifle made it's way to Indiana after a couple of marriages. This is your chance to actually own "The gun that won the West"!
I am picture illiterate so was lucky to post even one. Located in Indy and will not ship (face to face only). Can drive some to make a sale.
