OK, the current administration has so many scandals running right now that it is hard to keep up!

    • Fast and Furious
    • Benghazi
    • IRS targeting and profiling
    • Media wiretapping
These are just the ones I can think of right now! What the hell has to happen before the citizenry of this country demands answers and accountability? When is enough, enough? When do we begin to call the actions of this administration what they are, which is tyranny!

I pose the following question to all members:

What can we, as citizens of this country, do to demand and ensure justice prevails in these situations? My faith in our elected "representatives" in congress is not very high, as it seems that we are about to grant amnesty to 11 million+ criminals! What can we do? :dunno:

When we hold our favored party candidates just as accountable as we do the opposing party.

Generally, it's time to clean house the day after everyone has been sworn-in following the most recent election.

While I agree and it is funny, I'm actually looking for serious ideas. Not giving you crap Indy, just frustrated with the direction of our country.

Serious suggestion and I'll let you figure out how to do it. Get rid of partisan back voters. How many people vote for a candidate and don't give 2 ****s about what that candidate is about except that he better beat the other guy?

Are you thinking ballotage, horn? Or perhaps a None of the Above option?
    Kirk,
I am just a dumb average guy... what is horn? I'm not sure what we need to do, I just feel with every fiber of my being that we must get our country back in the peoples control, and back to abiding by the Constitution.

Hornady, no, I voted for Paul, as I believe(d) that he was the only canadite that would have upheld the Constitution, and not taken us (as far?) down the socialistic path, that I believe, we are on currently.

I blame both the administration, and the people that were actually foolish enough to believe that BHO was a good idea for the country.

You wrote Paul's name for the general election?

You presume that all those that vote for the perps wish for this outcome.

More of a philosophy question really and group responsibility.

Voters knowingly vote for candidates in the primaries and general who are against the voters' supposed constitutional principles and are aghast because the candidates they voted for act against the constitution.

Here, the second amendment matters more than the rest of the bill of rights combined and people have the gall to make excuses for anti gun Romney. Obama not being caught by an obgyn on magic American soul is the death blow to the entire constitution but they'll split hairs over Cruz being qualified to run for potus.

It's pretty damned hard to believe that the constitution matters so much to those who are so willing to vote for anti constitution candidates because he's not the other guy. Incrementalism you say? Name 1 10 year period in history that government became smaller and liberty increased.

I don't want this thread to become a pissing match... I really am looking for ways that we the people can take our country back! I understand that around here the 2nd seems to take center stage, and well it is a firearms forum so it is only natural that it would. That, however, does not mean that all of us on this forum are only centered on the 2nd.

I am very concerned with all levels of the government over reach that is and has been taking place for years.

I voted for Johnson. I just get how those who hold the constitution so near and dear will vote for whatever republican the party regurgitates because he's not "full in the blank democrat" and then wonder why those we elect behave the way they do. If they weren't elected on principle, they sure as hell won't govern that way.

The problem lies with the voters, not those occupying government offices. We're getting exactly what they vote for. Until we can get people to admit to their hypocrisies and statist tendencies and eliminate them, we'll continue to get more of the same.

I understand that there are many who will vote party all the way. I do not do that, I try to vote on the issues, and the policies/history of the candidate.

The problem I have run into is having the time to research candidates, and dig through all the BS!
