What is this plant and why did it give me a rash

My dog was playing in a ditch earlier and his leash snacked on this plant, pulling it down so it hit my arm. I brushed off the debris and came inside. Withing five minutes my are was covered in an itchy burning rash. Any ideas what this devil plant is before I nuke it from orbit

Looks like mullein sorta, but it's hard to tell from the pic.

looks like a wild growing stripper pole, could be any number of things that contributed to the rash......

Lamb's ear? Looks similar to the ones that grow near my house. Never given me a rash, so I don't know. When the leaves are quick, they are literally as soft as a lamb's ear.

Its the herpasyphigonalitis plant and theyres no cure. Watch out for those wild growing stripper poles in the woods.

Fairly certain it is mullein. Don't have any idea why it would cause a rash. In fact the plant was used for medicinal purposes to treat coughs etc. You might just be allergic. I know when the flower stem dries it is rather scratchy and a lot of the seeds come out of the stalk and tend to get all over you.

I also think it is Mullein, I could see it causing a minor skin irritation. Get out the Aloe!

I think Mullein is the winner.

The swelling went down and the itching stopped after about 5 hours, Still some redness left this morning. IM staying away from these plants
