    i found this in an antique shop. about the only thing i could make out on it was the date 1944. the owner couldn't tell me anything about it except it was made in russia. any ideas?

    Looks just like a PPSH that someone took a hacksaw to in order to shorten the barrel and take off the handle. Still pretty cool

    Yeah it's a chopped ppsh. They did that alot in Vietnam. I saw a bunch like that in pics of captured weapons my dad had.

    I'm interested in buying it but unsure if it'd be worth it. plus i'd have to find a way to get it back to the states. i'm currently on vacation in Albania.

    i dont know if i'd feel safe firing it, but it seems to function. nothing on it is stuck really. barrel looks rough though. getting it home could be a huge issue. I'm going to make a couple phone calls to try and find out.

    the past few days have been 65 and sunny. quite a bit nicer than home, unless cold and snowy is what you prefer.
