I had a simmons 22mag scopes on two marlin rifles in 22lr and 17mach2 and both scopes preformed flawlessly. I would buy another in for any future 22's it is a nice dependable cheap scope.

BSA or Simmons 8-point. I love em'.

BTW the Simmons I own is probably 15 years old, not sure if anything has changed... BSA is new. the BSA seems to have more clarity and the eye relief is much easier to adjust.

I have Simmons 22mag scopes on both my sons rifle and one on my Marlin 60. Great scopes for the money. They have all held up for years.

I'm totally happy with my BSA 3-9x .22 special. Came with cheap rings that were instantly discarded. Right now it's on a 10/22 but will be transplanted soon enough as I plan on going up to a 16x on the Ruger.

I also have a Simmons 8-Point 4x on my .44 Mag single shot that has held up nicely. It was DIRT CHEAP. Like, $14.95. It's Chinese made and it shows. I think they'd look a lot nicer if they'd just change out the typeface they use.

and if you are looking to scope a 17 HMR , this BSA makes a "sweet 17" especially for the 17HMR round.

BSA has a Sweet 22 scope. I own one, and have it on my Savage MKII Target. I LOVE this scope. The drop compensation turrets are easy to use, plus they have turrets for different grain bullets, I shoot 40 grain Federal Match Grade ammo, I threw on the 40 grain turret, zero it at 50 yards, and my scope has been dead on at whatever range I've set the scope to. As for the price on one, I paid $75 two years ago.

I dont own one..but I really like the Simmons 22mag scope. Ive used Jclarks and his wifes scope and they are very good scopes for the money...$40 is a great price for a great scope. I have a nikon prostaff on my rifle and I paid $175 for it..Id compare it to the 22mag and its $135 cheaper than my nikon.

Simmons 22 Mag for me too. I've had mine on my Marlin 60 for 2 years and have been very happy with it. I did upgrade rings instead of using the ones that came with it. I think I got everything at Dick's in Avon for ~$55.

    Simmons 22 mag

Take a look at the Simmons 22mag with an AO. They are reasonable priced and also have target turrets for adjusting instead of the ones you need a dime to adjust:twocents:

    Tasco RF4X15D

I've always had good luck with Tasco scopes. I started buying them over 20 years ago based entirely on their (cheap) price. I really don't have a need for new scopes, but even if I did I can't imagine I would buy anything other than a Tasco today.
