I'm looking into getting a 9mm silencer for my AR and now I'm considering a 9mm handgun. I'm not very knowledgeable on silencers, so does one gun differ in performance above another? If so, which would you consider to be the best performer when a silencer is attached. You can define "performer" any way you choose.

I've been speaking with gemtech about their 9mm multimount system. I've read good stuff though haven't heard one in person, but it's good for rifle and pistol suppression while having versatile mounting.

They should have plenty of silencer for you to try for free. I's $10 to get in and you have to bring your own factory ammo to shoot. Plus you could win a free silencer.
