I got this Saiga 12 back in December and the parts arrived last week so I decided it was time to put it together.

Dude, that was fast! And a damn nice job you did, too.

Did you get your selector stop back on? Can't really tell from the pics. Also, let me know how that Surefire mag does; I've been thinking about picking a few up myself (but will likely cut them down to 8-rounders).

    I :wwub: my Saigas.

Looks nice. How many rounds does that mag hold?

It says it holds 12 but I've also read it will hold 13.

How heavy is that sucker loaded!?

I don't know. I haven't loaded or shot it since I converted it.

    Thanks.
I never removed the old selector stop. I just cut off the back part of the plate behind the front rivet, and left the stop in its original location.
I also reinstalled the BHO. What a PITA.

I think I'm ready to buy another one.:D

I THOUGHT you were going to write about how you plaigarized a paper to earn your Doctorate, then were assassinated only then to be realized as a fraud and not really a proper Doctorate graduate since you were caught...?

    My bad.

There's no such thing as Martin Luther King day.

There's Rober E. Lee's birthday and there's my birthday. They both happen to be the same day and that's sure as hell NOT Martin Loother King day.
