IIRC they went cut checkering around 74. Before that was pressed (and thinner style forend).
They did cut checkering, full panel (not skip line) for only a couple yrs (wider forend).
Skipline cut was started maybe '76.
Many thanks for that info. Didn't realize the cut checkering came in that early or that the fleur de lis checkering was pressed. Makes sense when looking at it now.

Preparing for a Range Day towards the end of October. Needed Gloves and this OWB holster was the only one that didn’t look like a hazard while being cheap. Ammo can for the 750rds of 9mm I’m getting.

It’ll be at Proteq in Brazil on 10/28 if anyone is interested.

Ordered some old school Pachmayr grips for an SA-35 and a 1911. Hopefully they don't overbulk the grip on the guns. They won't be as pretty as the G10 style panels, but will be more grippy and not shift on the SA-35, as long as I can stretch them enough to get them installed. Should be here in the next day or so.

Purchased most of this stuff a couple weeks ago. Most of it came in on time. 1 item was forgotten and had to go through an email stream. It finally arrived.
    Dtom spike's tactical lower.
    Lpk
    Bcm mod 3 pistol grip
3.5lb flat single stage drop in trigger
    Antiwalk roll pins
    Reptillia recce stock
    Flat recoil spring
    Spike's Tactical T2 buffer

Using the 3.5lb trigger until I gather funds for a binary trigger.

    After reading this...

... and watching for a couple days as the price on new manufactured brass 5.56 and 223 started going up on ammoseek, I decided to pull the trigger today on a case of Igman 55gr 223 from Global Ordnance for $452 incl tax and shipping.

Didn't really NEED it, but I fear we may have reached the bottom of the recent downward price trend, at least for a while.
