Current carry choice is a Kimber Crimson Pro Carry in a Galco OWB holster. Does okay in the winter months. Need to figure something out for the lighter layers for spring/summer. Not sure what my #1 choice would be if I had unlimited funds.
Carry either a S&W .38 spec, Ruger LCR-CT, Ruger LCP or Walther PPS9.
Would like to carry something larger but whenever I do, it lasts for a few days and goes back in the safe in exchange for one of these on my belt/in the pocket.
The one's I've tried and failed: Beretta PX4SC, Springfield XD9SC, Glock 22, 26, 27, Taurus 1911, Compact Sprinfield 1911, 4" Ruger SP101, CZ75, and probably a few more I'm not thinking of at the moment. These were all on a nice gun belt and with good holsters, just did not enjoy carrying something I could feel was there.
I carry either a full size 1911 in a raven concealment holster either inside or outside the waistband. Or i carry a glock 22 in a bladeteck belt holster. I also carry an extra mag with either set up.
On duty carry is a Sig 226 in .40 with express sights. Off duty is a Glock 19 with same sights or a Ruger LCP when it's too hot out. We used to carry Sig 220's on duty till things got changed. Wish I had it back...BH
Well, I picked up my 9mm Rohrbaugh R9s this past Thursday, and I'm a happy camper now. It compliments my S&W 340PD very nicely, and I plan use it for EDC . It also makes a great BUG to the 340PD if I carry both.
I just switched up my carry guns. I either carry a High Point C9 or Arcus 98DAC. Both are reliable and carry well. I would like to get a Beretta 92fs or Sig 226 eventually.
