Walmart in Columbia City has a new policy that new ammo will not be available for sale until 9am the following morning (that it arrives). I ended up being able to buy 3 boxes of Federal 9mm ammo on Friday there because of this. They had plenty of .40 and .45 as well.

Not sure if this is the policy at all Walmarts but if so it should be easier to find ammo there now.

this is not new, it's their own way to fend off flippers. each store sets their own policies.

all 3 of them near me, Carmel, Nobelsville and Fishers, all the ammo come in at night are locked up. the sporting goods manager would put them on shelf in the next morning. it has been that way for a long while.

I guess they were having problems with night shift employees doing things they shouldn't have.

First time I've ever seen it at a walmart myself. I know it was not the policy in CC, most of the fort wayne ones, and the warsaw one as of a week ago.
