I ran across this video series tonight and watched all 10 parts. Its an old film about Wallace Gusler, and how he goes about building a flintlock rifle. It starts with him forging the barrel, and continues to the finished piece. Every piece of the rifle has been hand made, including the wood screws.

It's a very interesting series of videos that I'm sure many of you will enjoy watching.

Thanks for posting the links. This is a great series I've watched several times in the past and always enjoy it immensely. While many seem unable to fully grasp the architectural beauty of the classic American long rifle, Gusler's work is near the top of the food chain. As I understand it, he was one of those fortunate souls who knew what he wanted to do with his life by the time he was around twelve years old and never deviated from his chosen path.
