Quite a few years ago, we got a Deni 1831 Freshlock vacuum food sealer machine. I remember getting it out when we first got it and my wife and I got a folded dishtowel out of the drawer and vac-sealed it in a bag. I remember that it seemed like the bags were thinner plastic than I thought they'd be (like the same as a ziplock bag), and the vacuum didn't suck all the air out of the bag. Over-all it just didn't seem like a big improvement over using good quality ziplock bags for freezer storage, so we haven't used it since.

So, fast forward to last night and we were watching prepping videos on Youtube (quality time together) and there was one that interested us involving a guy vacuum-sealing Ball jars with various things for long-term storage. So, I dug out our machine and I saw that it doesn't have a place for a jar lid sealer attachment.

Anybody out there have a vacuum sealer with a jar lid attachment that they'd recommend?
