Just got a text from my buddy who is maintenance there. Some dude is waking around Vermont st with a long gun.

First thing I said when someone told us we were getting locked in the lab I'm in was it's not illegal to carry a long gun around anyway. Surprisingly enough not too many of my class seems worried about anything.
I guess the LEOs are all around now.

My friend is in lock down in the student center and just called me about it. I asked him what they'd do if he got up and demanded to leave. His response was "They locked the doors from the outside, I can't go anywhere." Told him he should still just go up there and tell them you're leaving, and what can they really do about it? They have no legal ground to hold him there.

So...my younger brother and three friends work and go to school there. Sorry to **** all over your thoughts on the 2nd amendment with my worries about crazy aholes shooting up colleges. You're right, it's no problem, people just walk around schools with long guns. My brother and my buddy who informed me are both armed right now because of morons who want to copycat.
