I used an empty 22LR case epoxied on a 10/32 stainless bolt. Lock tite it in to the hole I drilled and tapped in the old mag release.
Honestly, you guys are mechanical wizards!
For me though, as an owner/operator of a small business, I have to weigh time spent vs time lost (not producing income.) In this conundrum, I bought an extended delrin replacement for $7. Took ten minutes to drop in.

The first of my parts came in today.

VQ Target hammer and sear: OMG, never used one of these before, i feel like breathing on trigger could set it off ;)

I think one of my stocks came in, but ups left it at the front office which is closed for the night :(

I have tried banging around the action / various parts of the stock and it seems fine so far. I have not loaded any ammo yet, but have a range trip planned for the weekend :)

I really need to get pics

I really need to get pics and post them. I have 12 different setups of 10/22. I just got a 96/22 that I had been looking for for over a year.

Just got and installed VQ match hammer and auto bolt release, bolt buffer and hex take down screw. Also got 6 factory mags and a Butler Creek steel lips 25 rounder. Started cheap but the madness has begun...:spend:

Hey Slacker - that 10-22 on top, is that stock made for a stock tapered barrel? Or is it made for a .920 bull barrel?

The more of these threads I see, the more I want a 10/.22. You guys need to stop posting pictures for awhile.

I shoot mine and my MKIII more than anything.

mostly because that is really all I can afford. Not to mention both will shoot better than I am capable of, so I might as well increase my skill with cheap ammo.

Just bite the bullet, they only cost about 10-15 boxes of 9mm. That's what, 1-2 range trips ?

The top stock is actually designed for a .920 bull barrel. I ordered both stocks to see which one I like better, so I figured I might as well put receivers in both and see how they look.

I think the stock barrel looks pretty good in the wider channel. makes it sit a little lower and looks pretty sleek. I wonder if it effects accuracy having it completely "free floating"

    I ordered a Nodak Spud NDS-22R so I am about to build a non-10/22 10/22.....or non-ruger ruger or or or....whatever.

As long as the Tactical Solutions Cascade Monocore Ti fits on it nice and
    snug!!
