Hello, I do not really know prices on shotguns. I have looked around a little, but wanted to ask you guys for help in pricing these for a friend. Any help would be appreciated one is a Browning Special Steel 12 ga. The other is an Ithaca XL900, it says made in Japan on it which I am not sure about. Thanks again

Search the closed auctions on Gunbroker.
That will tell you what they're selling for and not just what someone is asking.

Look like fantastic shotguns! Someone will come along and probably give you a solid market value as of now, but like mgderf said checking gunbroker or other sites of the like is your best bet to know what they are going for currently.

the browning doesnt appear to be a gold tricker (light model) and it doesnt have a vent rib barrel, i would say $400-$650 range. if he is wanting to sell i would be interested in it. if he inherited from a family member and has a way to take care of it, then he should keep it in the family.

I bought the Browning, came with the original owners manual, from what I can tell it is a 1956 full choke. I am a happy puppy.
