This question may have been alluded to and superficially discussed in other threads, but how is Biden's covid response ostensibly different than that of Trump? Trump was absolutely hammered by the left over his "reprehensible" response to the rona, but other than a bunch of talking and virtue signalling on the part of the Biden administration, I'm not really seeing appreciable policy differences. What I do notice is the drastic change in tone of the coverage of the response, despite the fact that nothing really seems to have changed.

It turns out the executive doesn't really tell states what to do.

They're putting on a huge , idiotic virtue signaling performance with their double masks and distanced selfies and...that's it.

The media coverage of the response? :dunno:

Otherwise the same things started under Trump are still in place (masks, social distancing and vaccines).

Does that shoulder shrug emoji mean you don't understand why the coverage is completely different despite there being no difference in policy?

It means I think the only difference is the media response, but I'm not sure.

I do understand the hypocrisy of most of the main stream media and their bias based on who's president.

What's different? Trump made the hard calls and got us a vaccine delivered and distributed when and where he said he would.

Meanwhile people like biden were busy calling border closures and travel restrictions "xenophobic" and demanding we let anyone in during a pandemic. They were also busy pretending they were responsible for things Trump did, rather than give credit where credit is due.

Biden has done nothing, as far as I can tell, regarding covid.
