That was possibly the dumbest thing to ever come out of his mouth. I can't believe he actually used the term "common sense" and compared the Right to Bear Arms to a drivers license. Yup, he'll make a great "politician". I will never understand how it is that the States have the authority to "sell" a "license" to exercise the Federal Bill Of Rights. Maybe the States should also sell licenses to exercise free speech and a trial by jury and give you the right to refuse to incriminate yourself just - as long as you're "paid up". Think of all that "revenue" they're missing out on. We the People should not have to pay the Govt. for any of our rights. Seems like I remember we fought a terrible war over that. Seems like we drove those bastards out of our country at gunpoint. And then we voted them back in.
