I'm shopping around for a handguard for a 16" barrel with a low profile mid-length gas system. I have a flat top upper and would like a continuous flow of the top rail. I also want the gas block covered. It seems as if the rifle length versions of both of the Troy TRX and Midwest Industries T-Series would work for this application. Stop me here if I'm wrong lol. Does anyone have any pros or cons of either of these handguards? They both seem like very good options for several bucks cheaper than a Daniels Defense.

I have a Midwest T15 and love it. Easy install, solid, and looks great.

I think Troy has dropped the TRX line and is now selling the Battlerail line. The two are very similar but the attachment system is better on the newer Battlerails. I have a couple of the 11" Alpha Battlerails and have no complaints. They are smaller in diameter, provide a continuous top rail and are lighter than many of the other available offerings.
