Update to this issue. I got the barrel back from WOA, and it happened again! This time at 35 ft lbs. But the story ends well with a super shout out to WOA.

I called them back and they got on the phone with me and we talked about what was going on. They said they routinely tighten barrels to 80 ft. lbs with no issues. So they had me send the barrel back along with my receiver and the hand guard parts and barrel nut. Once they received it, they called me to discuss the JP Enterprises FF hand guard to make sure we were on the same page. They installed the barrel and shipped it back to me basically ready to roll. I put the hand guard tube on along with the FSB/gas tube and now I just need to get it sighted in.

WOA are great people. They did end up replacing the barrel extension since after knocking the pin out twice the pin would not fit quite as tight as they wanted. But they did not charge me any labor or for installing the barrel.

They will have my business, that's for sure!
