On an AR, I think the TA11 is a better choice because of eye relief and fov. If you can handle the BAC, a TA11 with a front cover is a better and faster sight than the red dot over the top. That was my experience.

In terms of quality, you will not go wrong with either.

Over the EOTech w/ magnifier? Yes. w/o magnifier out to 25 yds - dead heat. Past that - TA11. But again, I can work with the BAC. Your eyes may be different.
