If they don't divest foreign adversial ownership, it bans presenting the applications for download.

I would be on board to remove imo, but i fully stand by the 1st amendment. And you cannot remove a platform that so many people use to make income such as my wife. Banning something because they can't control it is communist just like china! tiktok is far left bias! I deleted the garbage bc i kept getting in trouble for being a conservative. To many liberal snowflakes.

Why?

I believe there comes a time when we need to say enough is enough. We have many social media network programs that we absolutely know are dangerous in many ways. This particular program is owned and run by an enemy of the USA. They have infiltrated our air space, our land and our psyche. How do we know the depth of their spying? We get somewhat upset when their spy ballon’s fly over the US but we embrace their social media program that do just as much harm if not more.

I feel there comes as time when we take a stand. Parents have failed to protect their children from the woke school system, healthcare providers and other social programs. This is just another platform to indoctrinate children; and others. Why do we, as a society, not take responsibility to protect ourselves and our children?

Just read the user agreement. You know the long boring thing you never read and just accept and move on.

Of those I have read insta gram was the worst but I have not read tictok user agreement

I feel the same way towards media, but i think we are now at a point we need to go farther then removing a social media outlet.

I do not allow our 8yo to use any social media and we even screen what she watches. School is another topic you can't fully stop it unless you homeschool. Atleast we live in a God fearing conservative farm community so it isn't a strong hold.

You're using the same argument they use against guns!

Tik tok or any media outlet only have information you put on there and allow. You have to compare apples to apples! Porn and tiktok are entirely different.

But I agree parents should be teaching and screening the content kids see.

When social media was new it was wholesome. Once they figured out they can mine us for intellectual info for monetary gains, they started crossing the line to privacy!

They should be held to the same laws and regulations as say a grocery store! But aince they are the lobbyists they pay to get their way

I’m not a fan of government banning most things. I don’t trust them. If something needs banned in our house, the wife and I will ban it. Tik Tok is, I believe, a straight up Chinese spy program. It collects info on users and that goes to china. The result? We don’t allow it on out 14 year olds phone or iPad, but I don’t want the government making that decision for me. If others want to use it, have at it. YMMV.
