I'd guess we got at least 1/2" yesterday. Came down like crazy for about half an hour.

WE got a bit when that angry little storm rolled over us. Here and gone pretty quick. The garden might have gotten wet enough. I need to check. It was due to be watered this afternoon.

Got my new teeth friday!
They stay put in my mouth with no glue, which is awesome.
Just have one little spot that is messing with my gum a little, might have to whittle on it a little, they told me they were booked for the next 4 weeks , so if I had to come in they do walkins from 7 -11 everyday

I always heard you shouldn't water in the evening because of mold or mildew or something. And you shouldn't water in the day time because it could burn your plants. And then I got to thinking... it can rain at any of those times, but apparently that's okay??

Evening all....I'm back

I'm back too. Supper wasn't burnt but I tried my best.

Last Saturday evening we had a localized flash flood in our area. Over 7 inches of rain in under 2 hours! The whole system was overwhelmed and my little town was under 3 feet of water in a matter of minutes. I had our septic tank lid lift up and then collapse the whole thing in on itself. My daughters neighborhood in town was devastated. No one in this area has flood insurance because it has NEVER flooded before.
