I will be attaching notes to pieces as to the needs when I put everything away.
3 ARs need tweaking. Light primer strikes in one. Spent round sticking in chamber on 2.
I need to put the standard ignition springs in another.
no more light triggers in an AR. No need unless it is a bench rest piece.
“No” idea as to why I had multiple chamber hang ups. That a new one.
I chose the easy button with AR triggers. Just order a LaRue MBT2S and call it done. I just use the spring that's setup when it comes and have had zero issues

What is the recommended tripod for spotting scopes now? T-Dogg had a really nice one but I don't recall the model. Paging MM and T-Dogg please

My suggestion to Tarzan was more of a 'feature' to reduce vibration in high -winds, than a specific model. Look for one with a 'hook' on the bottom of the center column.
That hook is for hanging an 8 - 10 pound weight (generally a sandbag) . That'll hold a tripod substantially more steady !

If you want to really be frugal, you can buy an accessory strap for tripods......it encircles the upper area of the legs-set, and you can hang a weight bag onto it. :)

Tdogg and I have this based on MMs recommendation.

I find it a perfect mix of excellent stability, smooth movements, build quality and a very reasonable price.

I have no SGE influenced purchases inbound yet, but there will be a tripod heading this way shortly. Now that I’ve slept, I’ve started to think about the various rifles that I shot and am thinking that I might swap the 3.5-14 BDX optic back to the AR10 from the M&P 15OR. It was fun to shoot the M&P with the Bluetooth optic on the various ranges of steel but I never got it beyond 300 yards successfully. It would do it but I just forgot to wrangle a spotter to help me get the rounds in there.

The Sig 716i with the PA 1-6x was not much fun to shoot. The heavy can on the front made the gun feel awkward to shoot and heavy as h3ll. Not to mention, it really ran dirty with the can. I’m thinking that I might go back to running without a can and more optic on the 716i and move the PA optic over to the M&P. Or, maybe invest in some better glass for the 716i and leave the BDX optic on the M&P. The 716i really needs more than 6x for my eyes to see out a ways.
