Looking for suggestions for some kind of a medallion to install in the center of the grip for my 2011. There is a vacant spot on each side where a cheesy looking sticker once occupied. It's smaller than a dime at .555" diameter. If I don't find an inexpensive pre-made option, I might make something myself. I don't have a specific design in mind, just something that suits the gun, one of those know it when you see kind of things.

Looking for suggestions for some kind of a medallion to install in the center of the grip for my 2011...I might make something myself. I don't have a specific design in mind, just something that suits the gun, one of those know it when you see kind of things.

The first thing that comes to mind is to fill the holes with disc's cut from a G***k frame and stippled to match.

If done right, no one will notice, but all the CZicko's will know that you murdered a G***k in CM's honor.

What you need is a gold coin to fill that space ... approximately 1/25 troy ounce looks to have the correct diameter (approximately 13mm).

Never made ammo can stickers but have a vinyl cutter so should be pretty straight forward. Maybe I’ll try to mess with it tomorrow and see what I can come up with

Appreciate the idea, but gold is a no-go for me.

Swapped around iron sights on some 1911's today. All of my non optic guns now have a red fiber optic front and blacked out rear setup. The Dan Wesson A2 Commander .45 is getting cut tomorrow for a Deltapoint Pro. I'll also be redoing the slide next weekend in Graphite Black cerakote. I have never liked the Socom Blue that's on it now. Going for an all black with matte SS controls look.
