    Getting shock therapy for the heart rate next week. Moving beyond the meds into new territory. At least I got some free Elquis, if you are ever prescribed that stuff, take your credit card to the pharmacy.
    Afib after heart surgery occurs about a third of the time and is usually self limiting and not an issue by 6 months post op but in a small number of cases may persist.

    Eliquis (apixaban) is not cheap if no insurance, only a little more affordable if you do depending on your plan. We used to load our patients with samples when we thought they would not be on it long term. You may also check GoodRx for a coupon although most coupons cannot be used if you have some sort of government insurance (medicare, medicaid, railroad, etc.). Another example of our lawmakers protecting their lobbyists.

    More like, trying to be BACK at the pre-Brandon, pre-Covid times...... $40 at the grocery store doesn't even buy beer and meat at the same time. Overtime, in this day in age, allows you to be comfortable....like in the good 'ole days......OFF SOAP BOX NOW.....

    :coffee::coffee: Good Morning, CZers
    At the grocery store, expecting to spend at least $3-350 today… not even enough to cover the week… :faint:

    Had to order a metal crate tray for our new dog Chip. He’s adorable… but…
    He destroyed his first crate and then destroyed two plastic trays in bigger crates. It’s separation anxiety. He so calm when we are home and even does fine sleeping in his crate. But when we leave he goes nuts. So we are also working on “crate training” with him to curb his anxiety. He’s all positive traits, except this separation anxiety.
