Well, today we have lights mounted on pistols. This is a pistol mounted on a light. It was probably used for checking out a strange noise at night.

Ya know, I do have a 92 3500HD chassis… it’s bare chassis in the back right now, but it’s got a mean looking sprint car push bumper on it made with some railroad Timbers.

The only "modernizing" I've ever done to a mosin is put a PU scope mount with 1" rings to use modern scopes instead of the original PU rings. It shoots pretty well with a Vortex Crossfire.

Here is my contribution. Savage Rascal with an extrended folding stock. Folds up to a smaller package. Have a space in the truck that it will fit. Fits my need for a small low cost "survival rifle".



Also made the scope mounting rail out of an old Ruger 10/22 rail.

This is kinda neat. I haven’t seen anybody doing mods on those little starter rifles yet. Makes sense for your purpose. Almost a shame to put it in this thread
