When the argument is, "If we can save just one life...." then cars must be on the list of items to be banned. See also- stairs and swimming pools. When the argument is, "Outlaw, ban, take-away guns...." then the person making the argument is unaware, stupid or ignorant. We don't even make law to stop the crime. We use law to identify, define and punish after the crime has been committed. The only reason we create laws is to punish people that will not stop said activities. See also- drugs, speeding on the highway, cheating on taxes, beating your wife....
Guns have been here since the beginning. The rampant and fashionable killing of persons in crowded public places has increased. Oddly, all these evil people focus their rage on average citizens and often, sadly, children. Could these heinous people maybe refocus their evil on the politicians and global power brokers that are hurting us all? If a man had a conspiratorial mindset he may start to think it suspicious these nutters never seem to focus on the powerful.

For the tl:dr Outlawing guns won't stop gun violence. It's odd these crazies never focus on those actually doing the harm, ie pols, globalists, etc.

“A deadly weapon”…Those don’t belong on the streets.

The only problem with the car analogy for banning deadly things is that it seems the globalists actually want to ban cars and are working it from the angle of pushing everyone to electric cars which are unsustainable, so that will result everyone having to take public transportation. But certainly they should ban baseball bats, knives, ink pens (can stab someone with), boots (can stomp someone with), bricks, rocks, and a whole lot of other things. So when we look at it like that, isn't it so much simpler to put dangerous people behind bars for good? Of course their agenda is not our safety, but quite the opposite.

    Ban assault cars!!

We need to have a system of testing and licensing to drive a car. We need a registry so we know who all has these vehicles of war!!!
Yes, background checks and no license if you are a felon, or if you are buying the car for someone else.

    Ban automatics--I drive a stick :p
