Four 6 hour shifts. Keeps people from falling asleep on duty.
I’m on board and agree but the logical side of me thinks there are some gaps, what if somebody is sick and then the rigors of foraging and general upkeep. My patch of of dirt has two able bodied men and one combat vet. Not me,thankfully. My brother. He and I are good but to maintain security with our wives and my youngest daughter will be a challenge. We have neighbors but not friends. We exchange greetings at the gas station but that’s about it. I feel exhaustion or complacency will take over quick. I’m not as prepared as I thought.

    Good point about sickness.
I didn't think of that or calling off on FMLA.
Either way, there has to be some kind of temp. service, that could fill in for the shift.
