This is my best 100 yard Sub-MOA group from my Remington 700 Police .308 Win. This is a 3-shot group, which measures 0.375 MOA, and done with 15 mph cross-winds.
I've not got pics of my guns yet, I'll take pics and add them later. Both guns are Savage Model 16 (Stainless Steel). One is 270 WSM, the Other 22-250. From a bench and after fiddling with several load combinations I can shoot sub moa 3 shot groups over 1/2 of the time at 100 yards. Here's my most recent 5 shot grouping from my 22-250.
Here's a 3 shot grouping, with the load used sucessfully on 4 deer hunts last year (me, wife, 2 sons). All hunting shots were taken from resting positions (sitting with shooting sticks). All 4 hunts resulted in one shot kills, from 110 yards, 130 yards, 150yards, 380Yards. The round was 30Grn CT Ballistic Tip, 63 Grn RL22, WLRM. Rounds chrono'd at 3300fps.
This last grouping was from the same Savage 270 WSM but was with a round I worked up for my son's cow elk hunt in Idaho. Specificas are on the target. And yes, he connected from about 300 yards through the neck, dropping her in one shot.
