Storage in Gun Safe

Does anyone have tips on storage of guns, ammo, and electronic storage devices in a gun safe? What dehumidifyers work best and most practical? Most safe manufacturers reccommend against storing CD's or electronic devices in the safe, but I think that is due to their low chances in a fire more than other issues. I really just want a safe to keep honest people away from my firearms. Chances of a fire are probably less than a thief. A good thief could probably get past the dog, wife, and safe door anyway. That is why I am insured. Should I vacuum seal anything before I store it, or would it even help/hurt?
