    Collect them as best you can and toss them.

    Over 37 years one of the noises that drives the wife crazy is the wack and rattle of a primer sucked out of the carpet going through the sweeper.

    I just throw mine away. I figure for how much I reload right now the time it would take to fill up a bucket to make it worth scrapping isn't worth the space it takes up.

    Currently I'm only reloading for 30-30 though, so its not high volume shooting when I goto the range. If I ever decided to get something where going through a couple hundred rounds a week, I'd probably reconsider.

    Not all primer cups are brass, are they? Maybe they're all brass, but some are nickel plated?
