So im looking for a nice but not to pricey Ar-15 and found a stag model 1 for a good price just wanted to know if stag would be a good choice

Stag's are good mid level rifles. They will be more accurate than almost all shooters who are behind the gun. With proper preventative maintenence it should outlast you.

I have two Stag lowers in use and 2 uppers enroute.

I trust them.

The Stag uppers I had in stock back in November looked to be of very good fit and finish. I recommend them without reservation.

You should have no troubles. Stags are a great mid priced AR. Like said above, if you take care of it, you can pass it on when you pass on.
