South California- 51st state?

I don't see it ever happening, but a Republican lawmaker is proposing splitting conservative California counties off from the rest of the state. South California would include San Diego county and Orange county. Hell, if they had good gun laws, low taxes, and a relatively low cost of living I'd move there. There is no better climate in the US than San Diego.

this means CA could be three states if you include Jefferson. They were suppossed to vote for state hood Dec. 8, 1941. (The day after pearl harbor.)
